programs offered on Tuesdays, 2 – 3:30 pm ET.
Each session provides convenient, quality learning at an affordable
price – you'll be able to see materials, hear an instructor
and ask questions in real time. Participants are charged by site,
which means you can invite as many colleagues as you wish to attend
the session at your location and share the cost!
Most courses qualify for 0.15 CSI Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
and 1.5 AIA Learning Units (LUs).

Facilities Management Master’s Degree
To address industry demands for workers with
stronger facility management skills, the Purdue School of Engineering
and Technology, IUPUI will offer a new online graduate degree program.
The Master of Science in Technology, Facilities Management Emphasis
degree will address the need for additional education for working
professionals in facility management, property management, plant
engineering, plant management, and similar fields.
The graduate degree program will be offered 100% online and will
allow an individual to complete all coursework in two calendar years
plus one summer. The program will be open to anyone with a 4-year
degree from an accredited institution who meets the admission requirements
of the Purdue Graduate School.
Facilities management as defined by the International Facility Management
Association (IFMA) is “a profession that encompasses multiple
disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by
integrating people, place, process and technology.”
This course is designed for those who are currently working in the
field of facility management or have an interest in this career
field, as a planner, property manager, plant manager, facility manager,
plant engineer or other related areas so that they can enhance job
opportunities while earning formal credentials sitting at their
computers. Students will share a virtual classroom with facility
management professionals from around the world while earning a Purdue
University degree. This is a unique program designed to increase
the student’s knowledge, professionalism and value as a facilities
manager.
Description: The M.S. Degree in Technology, Facilities Management
Emphasis is an on-line graduate program designed for the working
student. The program provides an integrated experience in facilities
management with emphasis on project and contract management, engineering
systems management and energy management. The program also requires
an independent direct project in the area of facilities management.
The curriculum is based on International Facility Management Association’s
(IFMA) guidelines.
